The highly indulgent topic of cinematic conversation ever since its release during late 2001. Well, impressed by its popularity I decided to take a look!!

Shrek exploits that misconception in order to protect his privacy.. An example being when he was confronted by torch bearing, pitchfork wielding villagers. He describes the gruesome fates awaiting those who disturb him, in hopes of the villagers never returning.

Even though Shrek is an animated movie and has a PG rating, the audience can easily recognize sexual and satirical lines throughout the movie. According to critic Jaime J. Weinman 's article, "Big Green Money machine," Dreamworks managed to make profit by adding sarcasm and indelicacy to the movie, along with adult humor and entertainment.

In the movie Shrek (2001),the psychological concept of prejudice is apparent throughout many scenes in the movie. Early in the film, there are fairytale creatures being sold and locked up behind bars by knights who work for Lord Farquaad. The creatures are being exiled from the town because they are unwanted by the townspeople and seen as pests.
